All the first aid courses that we offer at Echo Medical Services are fully up to date with the latest guideline from the Resuscitation council UK. We can provide courses in first aid that are either regulated, non regulated and bespoke. We can provide all our first aid courses either at our training centre in Thanet or at your location.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work qualification is specifically designed for individuals who
wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful
candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and
illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with
the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.
What's more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book
this course for their employees and rest assured that they
have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality
first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due
diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes

Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.
Upon successful completion of this qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations.
The course includes: The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider, Assessing an incident, Managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, Recovery Position, Choking,Seizures, Shock, Wounds and bleeding, Minor injuries including Cuts, grazes and bruises, Minor burns and scalds
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid situations.
The course includes: The roles and responsibilities of a paediatric
first aider, Assessing an emergency situation, Dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, Recovery position, CPR, Choking, Head and spinal injuries, Fractures, dislocations and sprains, Anaphylaxis and allergic reactions, Meningitis, Asthma, Seizures, Diabetic emergencies, Poisoning, Burns and scalds, Electric shock, Wounds and bleeding
Shock, Sickle cell crisis, Eye, ear and nose conditions, Bites and stings, Treatment for hot and cold temperatures, Minor injuries and Accident recording.
Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
The Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification is perfect for:
• Parents or family members who want to learn key paediatric first aid skills • Those who work with children and are not required to comply with Ofsted's Childcare Register or EYFS requirements • Those who want to provide additional support in their organisation to the paediatric first aiders that are trained to meet EYFS or Ofsted Childcare Register requirements Successful participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the skills needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, such as performing CPR and dealing with wounds and bleeding.

The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator qualification has been designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations. First Aid at Work Annual Refresher
Did you know that the HSE guidelines state that employers should ensure their first aiders remain competent to perform their role? As such, it is strongly recommended that first aiders undertake annual refresher training to practise their skills and update their knowledge on the latest first aid procedures. The First Aid at Work Annual Refresher qualification is specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required. Successful candidates will leave with a renewed confidence, having had the opportunity to practise essential first aid procedures, as well as learn the latest techniques needed to deal with an emergency situation. With all subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to satisfy HSE requirements whilst minimising disruption to your organisation's day to day activities!
